Antioxidants and brain health
You will be amazed to find that even though your brain is just 2% of your body weight, it requires 20% of heart’s blood output to supply the required oxygen. Your brain communicates with other organs of your body by producing certain chemicals. It is very important to understand the fact that if your brain cells die they are beyond any means of repair. This important fact signifies the importance that you should attribute to proper care of your brain.

The oxygen supply to your brain might be impaired if you meet with a head injury, lung or heart disease. If your brain continues to work at a reduced level of oxygen supply, it will lead to stress and it will give room for production of harmful free radicals.
